Treat the dog with PETCOR. This treatment will kill adult fleas as well as eggs and pupae and should be applied as needed when fleas are found on your pet. When first dealing with flea problems, Petcor will be needed throughout the week until the source of the flea problem is treated and under control.

Next, read through our FLEA CONTROL article where you’ll learn that flea infestations originate from the yard and home. And in most cases, the home is the most important area to treat. So with that being understood, I recommend you get some ONCE A YEAR FLEA GRANULES applied to your carpeting. I also recommend installing some FLEA TRAPS.

Lastly, you’ll need to treat the yard. For that, apply BIFEN GRANULES followed by a liquid treatment using CYONARA RTS.

Fleas are most active in the summer and fall months so if you want to keep the yard flea free, you must start treating in the spring. This program being done early in the year combined with regular treatments of Petcor will usually work at keeping the yard and pet flea free.
