To Whom It May Concern,

My husband and I recently uthenized our dog and two weeks later we start getting bites and come to the realization that we have fleas.

I had no idea that our dog had fleas, I think that she did not have fleas as we just moved into a new house a year ago and I’m thinking the fleas were here previously none the less we now have fleas.

I just moved into a place that had 6 big dogs. Should I remove the carpets? My little dog is showing signs of getting bit by fleas.

I’m not sure what removing the carpets will do but if you’re interested in getting rid of the fleas, you’ll need to treat using one of the methods explained in our FLEA CONTROL ARTICLE. As you’ll learn, it only takes one flea to lay hundreds of eggs and your new rugs will be infested just like the existing ones if you don’t treat. That means your options are either leave the existing rugs and treat them or replace the existing rugs and treat the new ones before they get infested.
Based on these two scenarios, I suggest you install several FLEA TRAPS along with our ONCE A YEAR TREATMENT. In my experience, this has proven to be the most effective and easiest approach to most any flea problem that includes a house with rugs.

More on will removing carpets control fleas?

Fleas seem to be everywhere in my house right now and I need to do something right away. I don’t know if it’s due to the excessive rain we’ve had or the heat or maybe both. But right now I see them on the dog and in my carpet and furniture. I have looked at your site and I like the carpet granules but can I still spray on top of it to kill all the adults instead of using just the traps? Also, is it ok to spray the furniture or is there something else I should use on it?  I don’t want to ruin any of the fabric.

I need to get rid of fleas that have taken over our house. The problem started about a month ago and it’s gotten worse and worse. At this point they are pretty much in every room and even the cats don’t want to be on the floor. We’ve set off a bunch of bombs but they only seem to work for a day and the fleas are back. What do you suggest?

We have 10 cats in house which never go outside in the yard. We have a large screened in patio where they spend much of the day light hours.  Several of these cats we are not able to handle or catch so brushing or washing is not possible for some of them. I realize the problem but am hopeful you and your products may be our answer.  We vacuum and clean daily so are willing to do other things you may suggest.
